The President (of Rebel rage MC Book 1) Kindle Edition
On Amazon I gave this book a 4**** rating as I don’t know how to do a 3.5, so on Goodreads. I gave the 3.5 rating.
On my own blog I will go with my original rating which is 3.5
For many reasons, as the following shows—
The book was too short, It is most definitely for those who don’t mind bad language, who are not afraid of some graphic scenes, and a male lead, which I am not sure I even like.
There is far too much thrown at you in a very short space of time, It was just one thing after another, you hardly settled into the story before bang another catastrophe.
yet saying all that, it did make an OK read.
The author is new to me, as with all new authors I give the benefit of doubt until I have read more of their work. So it was a nice introduction to her works, the very frustrating part for me is its a serial and finished on an all mighty cliff hanger which I despise, and instead of it continuing with Alaric and Angie’s story we are going straight into Hunters, if the blurb for the next book is correct. Which I find absolutely unreal, as it was left in such a way, one would assume its were we would take off, but apparently no. Which will take this to a ‘I wish I had never read book’.
The original concept of the female love interest been the ‘FIXER’ was fantastic, all though Angie nor Alaric were really explained. It could have been so much more, The entire concept of the story had me thinking this is going to be epic, We have Mafia, Pimps, Rival MC, Brothers at war, a good supporting cast, The sex scenes were a bit me Tarzan you Jane, over the top you might say but also expected with it been an MC I can not state this enough there is A LOT OF SWEARING ( so if you don’t like that this is not the book for you).
I am not sure I even like the lead Male Alaric, he was a hard man to like if I am honest. One scene in particular I could have shot him myself. I would love for the story to have been longer so much unexplained, however, the writer has given us a starting block and an OK one, which will be totally forgotten about if the follow up book has not got these two characters in. So I may get book 2 depends if I remember. I would read it again, probably will but only after I have the other 2 books
have been released. I HATE CLIFFHANGERS I usually wait until all are out or near to been finished. I AM A FAST READER, I can read two books a day sometimes more if they are novella’s.So to keep me interested they have to be something special

I got this through Kindle Unlimited. If I love the book I will go back and buy them all though I do pay a subscription so technically I buy them twice. However in this case I will stick with KU. As she is a new author and this book was just OK.
I read a lot of negativity about Kindle Unlimited, people really should mind their own bees wax, I pay a monthly subscription which entitles me to free books, I never abuse the system but I do pay £10 a month for the privilege of using it, last year alone I read 450 books not one of them was an ARC read, there for I BOUGHT THEM, some Twice, if I like it enough on KU I then go back and buy it to keep. I do NOT ARC read, I want my reviews I give to reflect clear and precise reasoning behind them. I do not believe in fluffing someone’s ego as at the same time I am not a writer and have no wish to bring misery down on an authors head. Some reviewers are down right cruel. I do not want to be one of those.
