2019 – MY YEAR IN BOOKS

MY YEAR IN BOOKS 2019

2019 has been a strange year for me, after reading 450 books last year, I lost my mojo, I stopped blogging and just couldn’t find a book to stick with , The romance books I normally read just weren’t doing their thing, After reading so many last year in all genres, I feel like the vast majority have one script and just change the names and locations, and it didn’t matter whether it was MC, Contemporary or Science Fiction. There were a lot of stand outs last year, SOME TRULY EPIC READS. So to get my mojo going for this year, I stepped away from romance and went to Horror, Crime, Thriller and would you believe it my mojo is back. I am aiming a bit higher, I still read the romance but switch it up, and revisiting some of my favs, After all all books get read for the first time again, even after years of been published. Many new authors have found their way on my bookshelf. Including many debut novels, and those are actually my most cherished finds of all. I have chosen some that have stayed with me and reignited my love for reading. Enjoy

These are my Favourite Reads of 2019 , I Have read many many more but not all have been reviewed and put up, as for the first 7 months of this year, I didn't review. I took a break. The ones listed are my absolute favourites of 2019

The Devil’s Angels MC: Book 3 – Pooh

Pippa:
Owning and operating a home for victims of domestic violence doesn’t leave a woman wanting a man in her life. Not a permanent one anyway. Having been a victim myself, I chose to open this refuge to help others that are in a similar situation that I had been. I was one of the lucky ones because my foster mom was always my rock, my safe haven. It was never me alone against the world. We decided, together, that we wanted to be just that for others. New Horizons is born and we are on a mission to save all that we can. Pooh:
I’m restless, bored and I want more. I want what some of my club brothers have found. I want that one woman that is meant to be mine. The problem is that I don’t know any women that qualify. Being in a motorcycle club brings women around in flocks but they’re not meant to be mine when they’re clearly everyone’s girls. Then I meet her. The One. Now the problem is that she is not interested in me or a relationship and not a big fan of men in general. She’s a strong, independent woman and a little spitfire when it comes to protecting those she’s sworn to keep safe. She will be mine and I’ll prove to her that men, like me and my club brothers from the Devil’s Angels MC, are nothing like the men she’s known before.
